About the Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission is comprised of up to 7 members and an alternate member appointed by the City Council. The chairman and vice chairman are elected by the commission.
Meetings may start earlier if an Executive Session is scheduled. The Commission may hold a Special Meeting or Workshop at any time so long as it complies with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Individuals who have an interest in matters to be considered by the commission are encouraged to attend. Anyone who wants to observe community democratic processes in action is welcome.
