Personal
I was born and raised in New York, and my husband Nick and I moved frequently over the course of our 36 year marriage thanks to his career in military and government service. His job brought us to Texas in 2005, and we knew immediately that it was where we would stay for good. I opened an art studio in the Village of Bulverde in 2013, and when Nick retired in 2014, we made our final move to Oak Village North. Today, we own and operate The Makery, an art and metals studio in the Village, where Nick is a painter and I am a metalsmith and instructor.
Civic
Beginning in 2015, I spent several years working with other local merchants and members of City Council to advance the goals of Bulverde’s Downtown Vision Plan. In 2024, I was appointed to Bulverde’s Charter Review Commission and elected its Chair. I am committed to transparent, accountable governance, and look forward to working on our shared community concerns about water scarcity; the impact of high-density development on our roads, schools, and natural resources; and how we can preserve Bulverde’s unique rural character and identity.
