Congratulations to those elected to serve on the City of Bulverde City Council. Thank you to all candidates for running respectful and committed campaigns.
These results include returns for Ballot by Mail (Absentee), Early Voting, and Election Day. The City will officially canvass the election results at the May 13th City Council Meeting, where Council Members-Elect will perform their official oath of office, swear in, and take their place on the dais for their first official City Council Meeting.

All City Council positions of the City of Bulverde are at large with a three-year term; the place numbers do not have special meaning. The Council is comprised of the Mayor and six City Council Members, who all vote.
EARLY VOTING POLLING LOCATIONS
Early Voting Days and Hours of Operation:
- Tuesday, April 22nd through Friday, April 25th, 2025 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Monday, April 28th through Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

ELECTION DAY POLLING LOCATIONS
The polling places listed below will be open from 7:00am to 7:00pm, on May 3, 2025, for voting in the general and special election.
Comal County will be using Vote Centers for the May 3, 2025 Elections. Any Comal County registered voter can vote at any Comal County Election Day Location, regardless of the precinct in which they reside.

Administration of the election shall be subject to the control of the election administrator appointed by the City. *Comal County participates in the Countywide Polling Place program under Section 43.007, as amended, Texas Election Code. Registered voters in Comal County will be able to cast their Election Day ballots at any of the Vote Centers identified above in Comal County. Preliminary, subject to change. GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION:
The City of Bulverde conducts its regular elections for City Council on the first Saturday in May of each year. The positions on the Council are elected in the following order:

VOTER ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION:
In order to cast a ballot in a City election, you must be both eligible to vote and registered to vote. Persons are generally eligible to vote if:
- They reside within the City Limits and are registered to vote at their in-City address.
- Are 18 years of age or older on the day of the election
- Are Citizens of the United States
- Are not disqualified as a convicted felon
- Have a registration that is valid on the day of the election
Voters meeting these qualifications will generally be allowed to cast a ballot on election day or during early voting. If you believe you meet all of these criteria but are not allowed to cast a ballot by election personnel, ask the Election Judge to explain your right to cast a provisional ballot.

Voter registration and determination of eligibility are managed by the Comal County Clerk's Office. All questions regarding voter registration or eligibility should be directed to that office at the contact information below:

PLEASE REMEMBER: In order to be validly registered to vote in any election, your application for voter registration must be received by the voter registrar at least 30 DAYS PRIOR to election day. Registrations received after that time, while valid for future elections, will not enable you to vote at the next election.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS (VOTING BY MAIL):
In order to cast an absentee ballot (i.e. vote by mail) you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 65 years or older; or
- be disabled; or
- be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
- be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
Applications for ballot by mail can be obtained from the Comal County Clerk's Office, or can be downloaded from the Texas Secretary's of State's Office by clicking here. Completed applications should be mailed to:
